Single provider. OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, and OpenRouter removed. Omit now ships Gemini-only — Google's free tier (1,500 requests/day) is generous enough that BYO-key still works, and one provider keeps the one-time $19 price honest by cutting the per-SDK maintenance tax.
Migration. Anyone already configured on a removed provider is prompted to paste a free Gemini key from Google AI Studio on next AI use. Bookmarks, vault, and Pro license are untouched.
Tighter manifest. Host permissions trimmed to the four origins actually fetched (Worker, Jina, Gemini, support). Lower review friction in the Chrome Web Store.
